Candle Care Tips
Candle Care Tips When lighting your candle for the first time, burn your candle for 2-3 hours to ensure an even burn from side to side. |
Always trim your wick before lighting your candle. The wick only needs to be approximately 1/4 inch in length, keeping it this length controls the size of the flame allowing you to get the most time out of your candle.
Keep your candle away from drafts, as they can decrease burn time, cause uneven burning, and smoking.
Extinguish a candle if it smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high. These signs indicate the candle is not burning properly and the flame isn't controlled. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before re-lighting
